Mine ventilation fan is one of the most important pieces of equipment in coal mines, its performance is in relation to the safety of stuff and the efficiency of equipment. Fan performance degradation, and its fault are one of the main causes of gas explosion. To study the accurate and effective test method and the advanced testing devices have important practical significance for the important performance parameters of mine main fan. Based on "the People's Republic of production safety standards for the industry - in coal mines with the main ventilation system safety inspection testing norms" AQ 1011-2005, and combine with the actual situation in mining production, the paper studied the ventilation quantity in-depth, then development of the corresponding testing devices.To the test of mine main fan ventilation quantity, this paper studied and analyzed three kinds of principles and methods, they are the thesis on static test method of differential pressure, the dynamic pressure method, and wind speed method. In this basis, the multi-sensor fusion technology applied to the test of ventilation quantity, and then the article puts forward the adaptive weighted average fusion algorithm for ventilation quantity's calculation. It explores a new way for the accurate test of ventilation quantity in future research, and laid a foundation.In order to solve the problems such as great labor intensive and relatively complex when set up the measurement trestle, and poor accuracy of selection of ventilation measurement cross-section by experience, the paper proposed using automatic sweep method replace the original ideas, and in accordance with the special working environment of mine main fan, designed the testing wind device automatically with the pneumatic as a power source. The movement of this automatically device in straight line realizes with cylinder, revolving movement realizes with the motor of atmospheric pressure. Finally, we used UG software development the digital virtual prototype device.To improve the original testing means of ventilation quantity, and realizing the measurement accuracy, on the basis of the research of test methods, the paper adopted virtual instrument technology, research and development of the ventilation quantity testing instrument. Through comparison of various virtual instrument hardware and combine the practical needs, this paper developed portable instrument hardware based on USB bus as the hardware platform, and took LabVIEW as the software platform, then had developed the ventilation quantity test system of mine fan, by using the modularization and hierarchical design idea. Realized the testing of the main parameters, such as wind pressure, wind speed, atmospheric pressure and so on.Finally, the paper chooses 4-72-11N 02.8A centrifugal fan for the test Objective, and constructs the test experimental platform, designs the reasonable experimental program. In this platform, the paper has the accuracy analysis and function experimental testing for ventilation quantity of mine ventilation fan. The results show that the method and the instrument which the paper studied can meet the requirement of practical test.
