Compared with other parts of the automobile, the panels change most frequently and their market time are shortest. Panels have many characteristics, such as complicated shape, large dimensions, high accuracy and strict demand for surface quality. Therefore, the designs for addendums and dies of panels are "bottleneck" for the automobile development.It can detailedly analysis the whole process of sheet metal forming, provide the detailed information about the material transmutation mechanics and forecast the question or defeat may appears that we adopt the numerical simulation. It also largely decreases adjusting time and experiment cost and gains a lot of information that can't obtain in the experiment.In this paper, the non-linear explicit finite element theory is studied systematicly, which include material models, element algorithm and contact handling methods etc. The FE modeling methods of stamping simulation are investigated and a comparatively deep study on the key points of process. And on the basis of them, the forming simulation of large automotive panels is made and results analyzed.(1) The non-linear finite element theory for automotive panel forming simulation is systematically expounded and discussed. Three usually used material models for stamping simulation are discussed and studied, and based on the reference of other research papers, the explicit description of Elastic-Plastic Materials for Hill's and Barlat's yield models are established.BT shell element theory and contact handling algorithm are also expounded in this paper.(2) The key parameters in the simulation of stamp metal forming are studied, which Include die-face, drawbead and blank-holder force.(3) Detailed analysis of the DYNAFORM software Composition part and Flow of numerical simulation system.Introduce the processes of molding to a part of the Yun Nan Hong Ta of First Automobile Manufacturing Company automobile factory Engine Cabin fixed beam base on DYNAFORM. For forming parts, and possible defects are predicted to make technology more intuitive to understand its shape.(4) In view of this fixed beam which the Wrinkle and the crack fracture quality question appears in the actual production.A part of fixed beam on automotive forming simulation is carried out in the way of Orthogonal and the results are discussed, These factors come to shape the impact of parts, blank holder force> velocity of punch> the Highly of Draebead> the gap between die and punch.Through forming simulation got very good quality parts.moreover, improved measure is put forward. Ultimately determine the optimal process parameters on the actual production of guiding significance.
