The title of this article is "Simulation analysis of car door outer plate stamping and research on process parameter optimization method",which is a project that my intern company is responsible for.The purpose is to simulate the drawing process of automobile cover parts in the stamping process,including the determination of the stamping direction,the determination of the blank holder force,the determination of the pressing surface,the process supplement and the setting of the drawing bead.In this paper,the research object is the driver's door plate from the corporation of Kinglong.The material is cold-rolled steel with a thickness of 1.5 mm,grade DC04.The drawing process was simulated by using stamping simulation software named AutoForm,and the forming defects were analyzed and solved.In addition,the influences of die clearance,friction coefficient,blank holding conditions and drawing bead were investigated,and those factors were influence the forming quality of the body cover parts.The process parameters in the forming process were optimized,and the trial production of the car door plate was carried out.It is of great significance and value to reduce mold development cycle and overlay production cycle.The main research contents are as follows:(1)According to the stamping quality requirements of the body coverings,the main factors affecting the forming quality of the body coverings and the main defects appearing in the stamping process were studied.(2)Based on the three-dimensional characteristics of bus driver door panel,the stamping simulation software AutoForm was adopted to simulate the drawing process.The first simulation results showed that there were lots of problems,mainly because of not setting draw bead in sheet or because of the characteristics of the door.(3)Based on the forming defects in the initial analysis results,an efficient way for the setting of process parameters was acquired,then the influences of die clearance,friction coefficient,blank holding conditions and draw bead on the forming quality of the body cover parts were investigated.(4)A method of selecting the best combination of multi-objective parameters named Orthogonal Experiment Method was utilized.Orthogonal experiment was designed to find out the best combination of process parameters to achieve the best forming effect,and the best process parameters were simulated again to see whether their indicators meet the production standards that enterprises need to achieve.(5)According to the results of the best simulation analysis,the design of car door panel trial production was guided.The results of the trial production showed that the forming quality of the panel outside the car door was good and conforms to the production standard of the enterprise,which verified the feasibility of the numerical simulation and provided an important guiding role for the actual production.
