The craft decision-making is the main basis for design of processing equipment and process routine, and directly impacts organization production, production quality assurance, the enhancement labor productivity, the reduction production cost, the reduction production cycle and the improvement work condition and so on. Therefore the craft decision-making is key work in production.This paper takes Rotational Type Parts as the object of study. According to the Rotational Type Part characteristic information, it adopts the polychromatic sets to establish process planning model, which makes features information and craft knowledge combine tightly together, and engender relational each other. Then, through carrying on the policy-making inference, it to obtain the reasonable policy-making result with polychromatic sets of logic coloring operation which unifies mathematics algorithms and genetic algorithm.This paper mainly carries on the following research: (1) Building the relationships model for the research of processing scheme optimization choice, tool whole optimization and sequencing machining step; (2) Optimization choice of processing scheme; (3) The whole optimization tools; (4) Sequencing machining step based on genetic algorithm.Through the above four aspects of technology research and programming development, realize box part decision-making process of reasoning after generating the processing scheme, the cutting tool optimization and sequencing machining step.
