Because of appalling conditions in the object of cutting the physical and mechanical complex, combined with vibration of cuttinghead, as well as tracks such factors as flexibility, resulting in the changing dramatically in load of work and has a certain randomness. Therefore, there is a clear working process of the machine vibration phenomenon, especially in hard rock, which is more prominent. The vibration of roadheader causing components, connectors,electrical components,hydraulic components, deformated and damaged, seriously reduces the reliability of the work and affect the cutting performance,lifetime and tunneling productivity.The paper make use of virtual prototyping technology, through the establishment of three-dimensional model of longitudinal roadheader, considering cutting head space payloads, as well as tracks on the ground load,making use of co-simulation method established the Multi-cylinder dynamic model of longitudinal roadheader.The longitudinal roadheader is analyzed by the method of model for its vibration characteristics, The phases of dynamic response characteristics and modal shapes are gained and analysised,the results of its analysis creat condition for optimization and improved design.
