With the development of science and technology,the roller coaster is moving towards the trend that is faster,more thrilling and more interesting.At the same time,it requires more fine details of the design and mechanical properties of roller coaster.Roller coaster track is the core structure of the whole roller coaster system.It is of great theoretical and practical significance on engineering to analyze the dynamic,static and dynamic characteristics of the track.Based on the virtual prototyping technology,the dynamic,static and dynamic characteristics of the track structure are analyzed to make a study of the relevant characteristics of the three-ring roller coaster track structure designed by a certain Design & Research Institute.The paper mainly carries out the following work.(1)According to the design parameters of the roller coaster,the structure of track and column are designed.Then the 3D model of the track,columns and carrying vehicle are built by the prepared for the simulation analysis of dynamics of the roller coaster.(2)Based on ADAMS the simulation model of roller coaster physical prototype is established.Then the constraint conditions between the vehicle and track are set,and the corresponding constraints and forces are applied between the moving parts.Running status of roller coaster in five different conditions are analyzed including no wind,forward wind(+X direction),negative wind(-X direction),forward crosswind(+Y direction),negative crosswind(-Y direction).The typical characteristics and locations of force on roller coaster track are obtained,and the dangerous positions of the track structure are analyzed.Through the analysis,the curve of load variation with time between wheel and track as well as the maximum loads of every typical position of the track structure are obtained,which provides the theory basis for the structure static analysis of roller coaster track.(3)The finite element model of roller coaster structure is established,and structure strength and fatigue strength of the track in typical position are analyzed,through which the maximum stress and deformation of every part are obtained.According to the maximum stress value of every part,the structure strength of the track is checked.Verifying the safety factor whether or not meets the corresponding national standards.(4)The natural frequency and mode of the track structure are gained by the dynamic analysis.Based on this analysis,that it is whether or not reasonable of the layout of the track structure,the specification of track pipe,and the distribution of mass and stiffness is analyzed,for the sake of providing the theoretical basis for the seismic analysis of the track structure.(5)For the engineering,the seismic analysis of the track structure is practical.In this paper,the theory of response spectrum method and time-history analysis method are used to analyze the seismic of the track structure.According to the analysis results,some improvement suggestions of the track structure.is put forwardThe research method of this paper is based on the virtual prototyping technology,which improves the design precision and efficiency of the roller coaster track structure.This method can be applied to other types of roller coaster track structure.It is significant for the design,optimization and improvement of the track structure.
