Preparation Of Cationic Polysiloxane Agents And Their Application

A series of cationic polysiloxane agents were prepared through the reaction ofα,ω-dyhydroxyl-polydimethylsiloxane, piperazine containing silane coupling agent, 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl-trialkyl ammonium halide, sodium hydroxide, hydrogen-containing silicone oils, allyl glycidyl ether, tertiary amine and ethylic acid, etc. They were characterized by IR. They showed good performance as used in the textile finishing and emulsification of piperazine containing polysiloxane.Firstly, cationic polysiloxane textile finishing agent (MPCS) was prepared by the modification of piperazine containing polysiloxane. Through changing the ammonia value and viscosity of PCS, the reactant ratio, different 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl-trialkyl ammonium halide, reaction temperature, reaction time and the dosage of emulsifying agent, the effect of these reaction conditions on the application performance of MPCS was studied. Finally cationic polysiloxane textile finishing agent (MPCS) with the best application performance was prepared. Results showed that:This textile finishing has good stability, and when used in the after finishing of textile it also has excellent application performance. They can not only bring the textlie good softness and hydrophilicity, low yellow discolouration, but aslo do not affect color-distortion-resistance of color textile adversely as well.Besides, cationic polysiloxane surfactant (MES) was prepared by the modification of epoxy-modified polysiloxane. Through changing the reactant ratio, the dosage of catalyst, reaction temperature and reaction time, the effects of these reaction conditions on the epoxide value of ES were studied. Finally cationic polysiloxane surfactant (MES) was used in the emulsification of piperazine containing polysiloxane. The piperazine containing polysiloxane emulsion prepared has small particle size and excellent application performance as textile finishing.
