This paper described the hydrocracking technical progress comprehensively both in domestic and abroad. In according to the actual production needs of the unit, the catalyst research was carried out as the background of 90,0000t/year hydrocracking unit of the Jilin Petrochemical Company. FC-32 hydrocracking catalyst that have significant priority cracking weight fractions ability and good quality bottom oil was developed, and the FF-36 hydrogenation catalyst that matched the FC-32 catalyst in temperature and have good hydrogenation denitrification activity was chosed. The technology scheme of the application of new catalyst in the unit was formulated, and the technical demarcation was taken for the application situation of FF-36/FC-32 catalysts. Results show that, the new catalyst activity is higher than the previous catalyst, and the BMCI of the bottom oil is lower. In addition, tracking study of FF-36/FC-32 catalysts was taken for 20months operation in unit, results show that, the catalyst properties is stable in various respects and have outstanding advantage in producing chemical materials under medium pressure, FF-36/FC-32 catalysts achieved the expected results, providing a good example for the further application.
