| Polysulfonamide (PSA) is a new kind of high temperature resistance fiber developed by our own country with independent intellectual property rights. It has good performance of heat endurance, thermal stability and high temperature dimensional stability, and can be used in high-temperature occasions. The successful development of PSA fiber breaks the foreign technological monopoly on the high performance fibers. It is great meaningful to accelerate research and development of PSA products and form its related industrial chain.The PSA fiber is easy to absorb moisture as the high moisture regain. It is not suitable to be used in the rain and snow, damp environment. So it is be proposed to achieve the PAS cloth's waterproof and moisture permeable properties by coating to expand its scope of application in this paper. In order to obtain the waterproof and moisture permeable properties, the paper studied the aspects below:Explore the relationship between allocation proportion of three times coating agent and waterproof and moisture permeable function, find the best coating scale. The results show that the intermediate-coat has bigger influence than the priming coat, and the best ratio is 4:11:5.Study the influence of coating process conditions on PAS cloth's waterproof and moisture permeable properties, find the optimized parameters. The PSA fabric is treated by coating agent which is composed of WPU, cross-linking agent and thickening agent. Select the coating weight,the amount of cross-linking agent, curing temperature and curing time as change factors, hydrostatic pressure and water vapor transmission permeability index as the two indexes. According to Uniform-precision Rotatble Central Composite Design, it is analyzed in the dissertation that different parameters influence the effect of the finishing effect, and optimized parameters are obtained:the coating weight is 30g/m2,the amount of cross-linking agent is 3,curing temperature and curing time is 150℃×3min. The waterproof and breathable index of polysulfonamide fabric with the optimal formula are the best:hydrostatic pressure is 5.7Kpa and water vapor transmission permeability index is 4821g/(m2·d).After treating the PSA fabric with the optimum finishing parameters, we carried out performance comparison experiments of the finished and original fabric, including the testing of tenacity, air permeability, burning retardance and abrasive resistance. The results show that through waterproof and moisture permeable finishing, PSA fabric's warp-wise tenacity and weft-wise tenacity have different degrees of improvement. And abrasive resistance change good drastically. But its air permeability and fire retardance are worse. We can conclude that coating finishing has significant impact on the above performance of PSA fabric.The dissertation has carried out study on the waterproof and moisture permeable finishing of PSA fabric and has obtained ideal results by optimization. |
