Modern fully mechanized coal mining equipments have greatly liberated productivity in coal mining and improved mining efficiency. In the actual mining process, reasonable fully mechanized coal mining equipments selection is the main factor which affects the production system of mining face, the prerequisite of safety and efficient production for coal mining enterprises. Among them, scraper conveyor, shearer-loader, hydraulic support (All called coal face "Three Machines" hereunder) is the most important relationship of mutual match. The traditional manual fully mechanized coal face equipments selection has lots of deficiencies such as:a heavy workload, cockamamie, important information of equipments too easy to be left behind, over-reliance on experts'knowledge and experience in the enterprise. What's more, maintenance and fault records of equipments are failed to materialize in the expert system. So, this is bound to result in the fault records impact on the selection of the equipment were ignored and failure of making a focused, targeted requirements for equipment bid units, leading to the purchased equipment can't satisfy the productive and efficient reliability requirements. Coal mining equipment selection expert system built a platform within the company which is designed by use of integrated computer technology, this platform is reasonable, accuracy, intuitive,efficient, safe and reliable, we can publish information for users to browse and use,and we can achieved a full digital, intelligent management for coal mining equipments by using a friendly man-machine interface.This paper is close connection with the engineering practice,we did a software needs analysis many times from users'and developers'angle,what's more, we planed the system program and designed the overall framework.The system function modules include Registration login, system management, basic data management, automatic matching selection, self-supporting selection, document management, system help and so on. Combined the existing network infrastructure of Shen Dong Coal Branch Company, We determined to use the B/S three-tier structure model system, Windows7 operating system, NetBox compiler and Dreamweaver as a development environment to establish a overall framework of fully mechanized coal mining equipment selection expert system and the connection to the backstage database, Meanwhile, so as to build the entire system it has settle the technical foundation by using SQL Server 2008 to creat and manage the database.This paper researched the evaluation criteria of fully mechanized coal face "Three Machines" selection, analysised various properties of the mining equipments, introducted a concept of equipment maintenance, equipment failure records feed back the expert system. This article established a comprehensive database of mining face "Three Machines", realized standardization, scientific, intelligent and rapid mining face equipments management. Through the research on ASP technology, we realized function modules of the system by using VBScript, HTML and JavaScript programming languages.This paper systematically discussed the selection of fully mechanized coal mining equipments, described the development process of the system from technical support, choice of development environment, system design, theoretical basis for selection, and at last we verified the reliability and stability of the system throughout several testing examples.
