In this project, a set of embedded system based on ARM+uClinux is designed by using the fuzzy control technology and embedded Linux technology after studying automatic control theory in ceramic kiln and embedded system development in theory. the embedded system is applied to ceramic kiln that adopt electricity as the heat resource, thus makes a good foundation for further study on the application of embedded Linux technology for other types of ceramic kiln. This purpose of the temperature control for ceramic electric kiln is mainly achieved by adjusting the power of the resistance wire inside the electrical kiln. This system change the effective voltage of the resistance wire by the method of the phase shifting trigger with SCR (Silicon controlled rectifiers) for single-phase AC voltage regulation, then adjust the power of the resistance wire, and control temperature variations inside the electric kiln as a given temperature curve. This system introduces the CGI(C)+AJAX technology to realize remote monitoring based on the B/S (firefox Browser/boa server ) pattern. CGI(C) takes the data from measurement and control software module, thus achieving the communication the web and measurement and control software module. AJAX(Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) successfully achives real-time data shown in the form of a dynamic display without web pages updated.
