Honing automatic measurement is an important part of automation processing. The accuracy of honing machine measuring system determines the precision of working. Currently, the pneumatic measurement system measurement was widely used in the honing process. In the past, the process of honing pneumatic measurement system of static state has been wildly used instead of dynamic measurement. The design parameters are also based on static state. To achieve high-precision measurement of aerodynamic honing instead of static state surface measurement is not scientific, so dynamic analysis is essential, and working condition on measuring accuracy analysis is very important.In the actual working conditions, the work environment of Honing and on-line measurement is relatively small slit of semi-enclosed space. In this dynamic small working space, various working parameters will affect the movement patterns of gas, thus affect the accuracy of measurement. In this paper, the basic theory in pneumatic measurement research established, on the basis of the actual conditions of flow field geometric model apart. Using FLUENT software simulation calculation, the contribution has been made for honing annular aperture flow field of the liquid flow analysis, mainly to the stress field and velocity analysis, we preliminary draw influence features of Honing fluid flow field to Pneumatic measurement accuracy.On this basis, Another Honing pneumatic measurement system model has been set up for real working condition. And through the FLUENT software flow analysis has been done, the general characteristics of stress field and the velocity field has been clear. In different viscosity and temperature working parameters, characteristic curves are clear. We get the relationship between measuring gas characteristic and curve viscosity and temperature condition parameters. According to the honing accuracy and work piece material, we can obtain the optimum working conditions of aerodynamic measurements and the best operating parameters. It will improve measurement accuracy and realize truly online automatic measurement of high-end CNC honing machine.
