With the development of science and technology, society is more and more high to the requirement of machining efficiency. Honing process is an effective way to inner hole finishing, It not only can remove larger machining allowance, and can improve the inner hole size, geometry precision and reduce the surface roughness. It is a kind of high efficient and precise machining method. When plovering the hole, Honing head while doing the rotational motion, on the other hand doing the straight line reciprocating movement, in the overlapping curve surface formation. Honing head under different working conditions, have different effects on machining precision and their own performance.Static analysis is based on the finite element analysis of the basic theory and method to implement. The finite element analysis process is accomplished by means of analysis software ANSYS Workbench. First choose Pro/E to honing head geometry modeling, then put the model into ANSYS Workbench. And implements the honing head each parts and the finite element modeling of the whole. Then create a force from the microscopic point of honing a mathematical model, The honing head is obtained respectively axial force and radial force and tangential force calculation formula. Through analysis of three kinds of working condition, analysisng by ANSYS Workbench software, the first condition:set the rotation speed increase1.5times as great, according to the calculation formula of honing force, in all directions of the size of the honing force are obtained. Of honing head upward and downward motion at a constant speed at a constant speed in the analysis, obtained from the displacement and stress-strain cloud, the change of the rotating speed has big effect on the tangential displacement deformation and strain. The second condition, respectively uniform downward movement of the honing head, for the downlink direction, the upward movement and the upward uniform static analysis for the four stages, it is concluded that the most dangerous working condition for upward directional movement. The above line is a prerequisite for reversing the movement, set the commutation increased to3.0g acceleration, comparing the actual acceleration of2.5g and3.0g commutation analytical results found that the axial direction of the displacement deformation and the change of stress and strain is larger. The third condition:analysis the three situation of respectively the1/3of the length of the honing head import oil stone, complete the import and export oil stone length of one-third, get the result of importing a third displacement deformation and stress and strain is larger, more dangerous in the honing processing.
