In view of demand of timber increasing, the use of artificial board to replace logs lumber become efficient. So one of the effective ways of intensity artificial board for nondestructive on-line detection has an important meaning, and it is a very important method in raising the utilization ratio of artificial board. This paper analyzed the starting point from which to both at home and abroad, the development situation of wood, comprehensive application of ultrasonic nondestructive testing technology, plank dynamic weighing technology and computer on-line detection technology and so on many kinds of high-tech, and referring to relevant mature testing theory to design detection system. This paper adopts single-chip microcomputer and CPLD for processing the core, CPLD peripheral count for the data processing, microcontroller to measure the velocity of ultrasonic in man-made board; By using the dynamic weighing the average density detected plank; According to the elastic modulus and ultrasound in man-made board the velocity and man-made board density:E v=pv2, to calculate the Modulus of Elasticity of the veneer. Because the dynamic elastic modulus and plank mechanical strength has positive correlation, artificial board can be divided level.Through researching that the following results:(1) the ultrasonic to detect man-made board intensity is really feasible. (2) Adopting soft rubber instead of traditional coupling agent can reduce the pollution of man-made board, and good effects were obtained. (3) Adopt CPLD and MCU control mode combination could effectively improve the detection accuracy.
