Population, resources and environment are the three main issues that the sustainable development of human society needs to confront now. Among them, the environment is the fundamental requirement for the development of human society. Environmental pollution has become a vital problem which human beings are currently faced with, and the keys to ensure sustainable development are controlling pollution, protecting the environment as well as developing energy-efficient and environmental protection technologies. Environment catalytic technology is an effective method of solving the environmental problems quickly. In the field of environmental catalysis, the photocatalyst technology-an emerging technology making use of the solar power to tackle environmental pollution has become the focus of environmental management and the exploitation of energy resources in recent years. Under temperate conditions, the photocatalysis can take the pollutants themselves or the oxygen, negative oxide ion, Crosses oxygen anion and other elements in water and air as the active antioxidant and make use of them to degrade almost all pollutants. As the photocatalyst, titanium dioxide has many advantages such as being nontoxic, chemical stability, strong oxidizability, low price, being reusable and low consumption, and makes photocatalysis economical and have high efficiency. Therefore, photocatalysis technology has aroused the interest of environmental scientists from various countries in the field of environmental protection and great importance has also been attached to the research and development on its applicability. In this paper, organic-inorganic hybrid nano-sized photocatalysts were prepared. Methylene blue was chosen as target pollutant, the photocatalytic activities was assessed by testing strip ratio of Methylene blue with the Home-made photocatalytic reaction reactors.β-cyclodextrin and tetrabutyl titanate were chosen as precursors, organic-inorganic hybrid nano-sized photocatalysts were prepared by using hydrothermal synthetic method. The organic-inorganic hybrid nano-sized photocatalysts were characterized by using XRD,SEM,TG,XPS,FT-IR and the influences of pH, ainitial reaction ratio and hydrothermal reaction temperature on the hybird materials were studied. The findings proved that Titanium dioxide andβ-cyclodextrin in the synthetic materials had chemical bonding action; value of PH and hydrothermal synthetic temperature had an larger effect on hybird size and structure of aperture, however, the influence of initial reaction ratio not obvioushe photocatalytic activities test showed that the materials had photocatalytic activities at the same time had a strong capacity of absorption.D- Galactose was used to prepare organic-inorganic hybrid nano-sized photocatalyst as organic component and characterized by XRD, which showed that the materials were multiphase of anatase and brookite; it can be seen through SEM that the sample had rich pore structure. In this paper, the photocatalytic activities of products were assessed, and dyes absorption to MB and photodegradation mechanism of this kind of porous materials were discussed preliminarily. The results indicated that catalyst prepared by this method had strong absorption and photocatalytic capacities; and had potential value of application in pollutants treatment, especially in treatment with low concentrations of pollutants.
