Compound ecological floating bed technology was a brand-new water treatment technology, general constructed by the aquatic plant and filler. It can degrade water contaminants, guarantee on the treatment effect of waste water, and had stronger adaptability than other technology. Due to had both decontamination and good landscape effect, the compound ecological floating bed was widely used in reservoirs, rivers, lakes and other contaminated water body. A compound floating bed was constructed according the characteristics of micro-polluted sources water, then find out the best running conditions of this system by a serious of tested. The main results of the researched were as follow:Researched the best combination of filler and floating bed through analyzing the effects of pollutant removal. The results showed that the combination which the floating bed was in the above of filler was better compare with others combination, and had good decontamination efficiency and operability. It had an advantage in turbidity and ammonia nitrogen removal than others combinations, also had good removal effect in COD and total phosphorus. The removal effect of this combination on COD, turbidity, ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus was 32%,84%,63% and 29%, respectively.Researched the best of aeration on the compound ecological floating bed system when the other operating conditions were the same. Through the analysis on experiment results which the system aeration was in 3.5 L/min,5L/min,8L/min and 13.5L/min, respectively showed that the turning point of turbidity, COD and total phosphorus removal rate was 5L/min. Below this aeration, the decontamination effect was proportional to the aeration, and was in inverse proportion when the aeration was pass the turning point. The turning point of ammonia nitrogen removal efficiency was 8L/min. Comprehensive analysis; 5L/min was the best aeration for the compound ecological floating bed. On this aeration, the removal efficiency of turbidity, ammonia nitrogen COD and total phosphorus removal efficiency was 76%,62%,39% and 40%, respectively;Researched the best hydraulic loading on the compound ecological floating bed when the aeration was 5L/min. Results show that it had a good decontamination effect when hydraulic loading of the floating bed system was 2m3/(m3.d). the removal efficiency on turbidity, ammonia nitrogen COD and total phosphorus was 78%,71%,36% and 40%, respectively;Researched the feasibility of stage aeration when the system aeration was 5L/min and hydraulic loading was 2m3/(m3.d). Data analysis indicate that the pollutants removal efficiency had a certain degree of decline in the early stage, especially on ammonia nitrogen, COD and total phosphorus, and affected the effluent water quality. The pollutants removal efficiency would recover gradually in the post treatment stage. Stage aeration was feasible when the weather condition allowed for reducing power consumption; It had no obvious effects on turbidity, ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus removal effect whether the floating bed plant was picked or not, but had evidence decrease in COD removal effect. In the later stage of the test, the pollutants removal effect had improved gradually because the new plant growing. The COD and ammonia nitrogen removal efficiency were better than the early stage before picked and the control group because the freshman plant had longer roots and better photosynthesis. Regular picking was necessary for the floating bed plants in daily management, but should avoid violently disturbed; The compound ecological floating bed had no obvious pollutants removal effect on the early stage of the pilot test. The water quality had a certain degree of improvement after the filler was hang membrane and floating bed plant grow, basically achieve the expected treatment effect.
