The Researchment For Serial Standards Of Methanol Gasoline

The world appeared oil crisis twice in the 70s of 20th century, the world are working on the research and development of new alternative fuels to alleviate the energy crisis. After experimental researches of many countries show that the alcohol fuel is the most promising alternative fuel for internal combustion engine. Methanol as an alternative fuel for motor vehicles, because of the production of low cost, high-octane number, its own oxygen, adding in gasoline is an ideal clean fuel, methanol gasoline will become main energy for motor in our country. At present, China has promulgated and implemented the "Fuel methanol for motor vehicles," "Methanol gasoline for motor vehicles (M85)" two national standards. Shaanxi Province has promulgated and implemented the "Methanol gasoline for motor vehicles (M15)", "Methanol gasoline for motor vehicles (M25)" two local standards, promoting the use of methanol fuel, and standardizing the order of methanol market.The calorific value of fuels and that of fuels'theoretical mixture gas are the important factors to the power of the vehicles, this paper firstly studied on the test methods of calorific value of methanol gasoline, calculated the calorific value of several proportions of methanol gasoline and component oil which can make up methanol gasoline, this provided the data basis for Paper. In this paper, studied on the bench tests of M85 methanol gasoline which is made up of the straightrun gasoline, from the technical feasibility and practicality, proved that the reformed gasoline is reasonable as component oil to make up M85 Methanol gasoline, and made the standard for the straightrun gasoline and its additives, that "the component oil of methanol gasoline (M85) for motor vehicles" Standard. This paper amendmented "Methanol gasoline for motor vehicles (M15) ", "Methanol gasoline for motor vehicles (M25)" two Shaanxi province local standards to "low proportion of methanol gasoline for motor vehicle" standard. Finally after the experiments, set the technical indicators for methanol fuel (1M100) and its additive for motor vehicles, to form "Methanol fuel (M100) for motor vehicles" standard.The principle of test, methods and requirements in thesis, reference domestic and international standards and industry standards. This form of the three criteria need to review though relevant institutions in Shaanxi Province, after the audit of Shaanxi province for the production of methanol and gasoline, sales and testing.
