Cementing truck is critical equipment in the oil field construction, and it is mainly used to fix well in the oil field task. The stand or fall of fixing well quality relates to the oil exploitation efficiency and safety, and it has great influence on production, life, exploration and development of oil well. Fixing well power transmission system is the absolutely necessary part of the cementing truck. It mainly consists of the diesel engine, the clutch, universal shaft, hydrodynamic mechanical transmission, tooth type coupling and three cylinders piston pump etc. In order to improve the fixing well scope of cementing truck, hydrodynamic mechanical transmission is adopted in the fixing well power transmission system. Hydrodynamic mechanical transmission can realize the pressure and flow requirements of different fixing well conditions by changing different gears. And because of the existence of hydrodynamic torque converter, the power transmission system can realize within limits automatic transformation of output torque and speed, thus automatically adapt pressure and flow requirements of fixing well. Fixing well power transmission system has very important influence on realizing different fixing well requirements. However, performance of the power transmission system, not just is decided by the performance of the various components, but also is decided by the matching performance between them. The matching mainly refers to the matching between the diesel engine and the hydrodynamic torque converter and between new power device and the power train parameter. When the matching is reasonable between the diesel engine and the torque converter, the diesel engine usually works in its ideal working area, not only its wear power is reduced, thus its service life is prolonged, but also its fuel consumption is reduced, thus vehicle emission is reduced. When the matching is reasonable between the new power device and the power train parameter, cementing truck would have good fixing well performance and fuel economy. Therefore, performance of each components of the fixing well power transmission system is analyzed, and optimization of the matching and parameter between them is made, it has very important practical significance. This paper mainly does the following research work:(1) The performance of the fixing well power transmission system and its compositions is analyzed, and the matching computational analysis is done between the diesel engine and the torque converter. The optimized matching mathematical model is established which takes the maximum output power for the objective function, and takes the effective diameter of torque converter torus for the design variable. It is used to optimize the effective diameter of torque converter torus. The purpose of reasonable matching is achieved.(2) Based on structure feature and characteristic analysis of the horizontal triplex single function piston pump, the joint output pressure and flow of fixing well power transmission system is calculated. According to the intensity requirement of piston pump and requirement of fixing well process, the fixing well performance and fuel economy is analyzed.(3) Based on joint output characteristic of the fixing well calculation and analysis, the optimized mathematical model is established which takes the maximum output power utilization ratio for the objective function, and takes the transmission ratio of the transmission system for the design variable. And the fuzzy constraint condition is established by using the fuzzy optimization theory. The optimum value of the transmission ratio is calculated by using the fuzzy optimization algorithm. Then the optimized performance is compared with the original performance.To sum up, the optimization of the matching between the CAT3406 six cylinders turbocharged diesel engine and the ALLISON TC-496 type torque converter and the transmission ratio of the transmission system is made. The location of reasonable matching is achieved by calculating optimized matching mathematical model, and the optimum value of effective diameter is D=0.380m. The optimum value of the transmission ratio is calculated by using the fuzzy optimization algorithm, and the optimization result of every gears are ig1=7.173,ig2= 2.871, ig3=1.818, ig4=1.242, ig5=0.93, and the optimization result of reducer is io=0.22. The output power utilization ratio of the transmission system rises by 8.79%; the maximum output pressure of fixing well power transmission system is 68.79 MPa, and decreases by 11.56%; the maximum output flow is 1564.5 L/min, and rises by 2.27%; the maximum speed governing range coefficient is 7.78, and rises by 2.95%. The optimization results explain that the performance of the optimized fixing well power transmission system is better, and the expected optimization design goal is reached.
