Injection molding machine is the appropriative machine to produce plastic production. Stability and controlling precision of the injection cylinder motion has an important effect on injection molding production and product quality. With the continuous improvement of product quality requirements and precision molding technology, the requirements of injection molding machine cylinder controlling increase higher and higher. Due to the impact of fluid temperature, screw speed, load pressure, temperature, humidity and other material financial, injection cylinder system is a typical nonlinear and time-variable systems. Traditional control method always can't achieve satisfactory control effect in the injection cylinder system for its poor stability and low anti-interference ability. A composite controller based on fuzzy neural network (FNN) was designed in this article, which combination with PID control, fuzzy control and neural network, and was applied to the position control of injection cylinder in injection molding machine, Achieved good control effect.The main content of this article:1. Analyzed hydraulic system working principle of BOY15S injection molding machine, designed the control system of electro-hydraulic proportional injection cylinder2. PID controller was designed and applied to position control of injection cylinder, researched cycle tracking features of variable-track and variable-cycle injection cylinder. The experimental result show that PID controller can achieve cycle tracks under variable-track and variable-cycle injection cylinder.3. A fuzzy neural network (FNN) combined controller was designed and applied to position control of injection cylinder, researched cycle tracking features of variable-track and variable-cycle injection cylinder. The experimental result show that the controller has the property of high position tracking accuracy, compared with conventional PID controller.The conclusion of this research can provide reference for designing high speed and high precision hydraulic injection molding machine.
