Ethylene oxide is an important organic synthetic raw materials.For the manufacture of ethylene glycol,synthetic detergents,emulsifiers,nonionic surfactants,antifreeze agents, plasticizers,lubricants,pesticides,and storage fumigant,broad-spectrum disinfection efficiency of gas agents,medical sterilization and widely used on industrial sterilization and ethylene oxide can also be used for military weapons purposes.Ethylene oxide production process is relatively complex device,raw materials and products are flammable,explosive materials,there is the main process high temperature,high pressure,so a safe,reliable equipment is essential for the emergency shutdown system.This thesis on how to ethylene oxide plant based on characteristics of technology and equipment,research,designed for the emergency shutdown system of the device and applied to practical described in detail.HIMA highlighted the company's hardware configuration, logic programming,HMI configuration and system debugging and other aspects of the technology.The application shows,H51 q system completely solve the existence of the old system,the shortcomings and ensure the safe operation of the unit.The system has been put into operation,and achieved good operating results,meet the design requirements.
