High silica content of acrylic emulsion paint for exterior insulation film has good weathering properties and water resistance,This is a currently hot research.Papers studied the optimum conditions of synthesis of high silica content of acrylic emulsion. High silicon content of the acrylic emulsion paint for the exterior insulation base material, rutile TiO2, and hollow glass microspheres as fillers, The U.S. military standard MIL-E-46136(A)[S] for the evaluation criteria, The impact of each component to lnsulation properties of the coatings was researched. The optimum preparation conditions of exterior insulation coating was discussed. The structural determination of the film, The thermal stability of the coating and comprehensive performance of exterior Insulation coating was determined.The results show that the optimum conditions of synthesis of high silica content of 40% acrylic emulsion is Methyl methacrylate and butyl acrylate as monomers, Mass ratio of 0.8 between the two, Four eight-methyl siloxane ring as organic silicon monomer, the mass ratio of the two 1, the ratio of SLS and OP-10 is 2/1, the amount is 2.0% of the monomer, The amount of NaHCO3 is 0.5%, initiator dosage is 0.55%, Polymerization temperature at 80℃and Oil-water ratio of 0.6. The emulsion and coating performance in line with GB/T20623-2006 requirements. IR analysis shows that product is a silicone acrylate monomer copolymerization. TG analysis shows that emulsion in the weight loss around 200℃and weight loss rate of 5.956%.The results show that the optimum preparation conditions of exterior insulation coating is content of 40% silicone emulsion as the membrane material, the amount of it is 25%, the amount of rutile TiO2 is 15%, the amount of hollow glass beads is 12.5%; Optimization process is high-speed dispersion time is 80min, grinding time is 60min, film thickness is 0.2mm and brushing 2 times.Under optimal conditions, Coated with thermal insulation coating the absolute specimen temperature is 22℃, lower than the blank test that the temperature is 14℃, has good insulation properties. TG analysis of the coating showed that the weight loss rate is 27.68% when temperature is 900℃;Comprehensive test results showed that the The performances meet GB/T 9755-2001 requirements.Developed water-based exterior insulation coatings, environmental protection, has good insulation properties, other properties in line with national standards.
