Exterior wall thermal insulation coatings research has important significance onbuilding energy efficiency. Emulsion as silicon a crylic-acid coating base has a goodadhesion, color retention, weathering resistance, ionic crosslinking silicone acrylicemulsion can further improve the water resistance and hardness, Fillers of titaniumdioxide and hollow glass bead is a hot spot in the insulation coating.Experimental study on the high silicon content, the preparation of high solidcontent of silicone modified acrylic resin. The results show that the organic silicon DB-151: D4is1:1, content22%; Phase compared to0.7:1,75%of acrylic esters as oilymonomer, acrylic acid3%, initiator0.5%; Emulsifier3.0%,0.75%of the electrolyte inorder to optimize the formulation. Monomer droplets addition80℃the preparation ofsilicone modified acrylic resin, latex solid content is40.35%, the performance to meetthe requirements of GB/T20623-2006. Infrared spectrum showed that the monomer hascarried on the effective crosslinking. TG-DTA analysis showed that within the range of200℃curing film coating weightlessness rate was1.59%, the membrane that canwithstand200℃high temperature.Ionic crosslinking method to further optimize the silicone acrylic emulsion formula,The results show that the ionic crosslinking agent ZnO, crosslinking temperature60℃;3%of the total content of oily monomer acrylic monomers, n (Zn2+): n (AA) is0.3,organic silicon monomer to optimize the conditions for22%. Under the condition of thevarnish bibulous rate is reduced.With homemade ionic crosslinking silicone acrylic emulsion as basic material,hollow glass beads, TiO2rutile type and glass flake as fillers, preparation of exteriorwall thermal insulation coatings, to optimize the preparation conditions, coatinginsulation performance in the American military standard MIL-E-46136(A)[S]. Theresults show that the optimized formula of zinc ion crosslinking emulsion,; Theproportion of fillers with makings is3.0; TiO2rutile type accounted for33%of totalfillers, SL-70type hollow glass microsphere, accounting for30%of the amount offillers, hollow glass beads and glass flake ratio3:1; Fillers milling time90min, the film thickness of0.25mm, the preparation of thermal insulation coating compared with theblank experiment16℃temperature decrease. Paint comprehensive performance testresults show that the indicators have reached the requirements of GB/T9755-2001.TG-DTA analysis showed that within the range of200℃coating weight loss rate of8.7%.
