Fixture is one of the most complex and high degree of specialization equipments. Fixture design is highly dependent on the experience. The subject adopts the parametric design, combing database of SQL information access function to design the auxiliary fixture design system, combining with some characteristic existing in the design process of Wuxi blade factory, such as too much repeated labor, the difficulties of using the traditional design and the work of the engineering drawing amending so that it can solve the problems in the traditional fixture design, such as long periodic, low design efficiency. To some degree, it reduces the repeated labor. As a result, it can meet the requirement of the flexibility and fast speed of the modern fixture design, increasing the competitiveness of the enterprise in the world.Unigraphics software is the high-end software for the manufactory factory which is the most advanced and highest level of integration. UG uses open structure system, providing a lot of customized development means and then interface and function of its development language so that it can enable users and secondary developers to perform various function more easily. This thesis mainly in UG/Open API as a development tool, combining offer of visual C++ as a visual interface, as well as on the basis of the summarize of the experience of Wuxi traditional blade design did a system research on the secondary development and application of the turbine blade fixture.This article mainly analyzed and studied the second development of UG and parametric design principle,and on the foundation of the studies,the author build CAFD system based on UG software.The main contents and achievements include as follows: investigated the method of parametric design for parts,built a expandable parts library;Importing and editing the drawing's frame which measure up to corporation's standards based on template technology; geometry information and non-geometry information are integrated with the establishing of part information model and title bar and part list can be created automatically by extracting feature information;The method of fixture design based on CBR has been studied and established a representation model of fixture feature; investigated the developed technique of the UG software,and has written some programs for the system.
