At present, Non-ferrous metal smelting has been a major part of the energy consuming industries in China. And the world is in the nervous of lacking of energy nowadays. So, in order to solve the problem of energy shortage, our country had put forward the energy-saving emission reduction policies to strengthen energy conservation and energy efficiency improvement, and strive to build a conservation oriented society.This paper mainly based on the system energy saving method for the copper smelting process of non-ferrous metals analysis of energy consumption. A reference material flow model and an actual material flow model are established to analyze the energy consumption of the smelting process based on the statistical data of production and the actual smelting process. And by doing this can calculation determines the highest comprehensive energy consumption process and calculates the energy saving potential of each process, to provide a reliable basis for the enterprise to carry out energy-saving transformation. In addition, the use of C# language and Visual Studio universal platform program, and established the model of copper smelting process by using "e-p analysis method" and "reference material flow analysis method", the development of "top blown smelting technology of energy saving management system", for the calculation of the energy saving potential of copper smelting enterprises.Research results show that:In this case of this paper, the energy saving potential of ISA copper production enterprises with 65.5kgce/t in the year; The largest of energy saving potential in the whole process of ISA copper is the of the process for P-S converter blowing process, the results of calculation shows that the most potential energy saving process is P-S converter blowing process; It is also proved that, in actual ISA copper process, there are lots of material flows deviates the reference material flow model, such as the input, output and circle material flow, and the researchers and analysts have suggested the input material flow has the function of reducing the whole process energy consumption, and the more on the back of the process can saving more energy, although the output and circle material flow has the function of increasing the whole process energy consumption, and the longer the cycle length and more on the back of the process, the higher the energy consumption. Therefore, from the point of view of material flow energy flow analysis, in order to reduce the energy consumption of smelting process, it should be in the range of production, as more as possible to input the cold material, and reduce the recycling of waste materials and emissions.
