In view of the OG# fan rotors' field balancing difficulty and the safe operation in steel mills, the paper unifies through the theoretical analysis and the experimental study of the actual working conditions, have carried on dynamics finite element analysis to the fan whole as well as the part; For the difficulty of the rotor balancing to this kind of rotor, making out the rapid rotor balancing method, and further perfected the rotor balancing theory, the main contents of papers include:1. In view of the fan model and working conditions, carries on finite element analysis to the whole fan. From the fan 3D modeling, meshing grid, parameter selection, the load and constraints imposed, the analysis of results, detailing to describe the finite element analysis process. Through analysis of the overall fan, I get the fan's speed work stress situation, and the first 10 bands frequency and modal modality of the fan rotor system; addition, the impeller and the bearing in the work condition is also analyzed.2. Under field balancing requirements, a comprehensive analysis of the rotor's faulty forms and the rotor balancing characteristics and nature. In the experimental study, from the choice of sensors, measuring equipment performance parameters, test and debug processes, designing a fault diagnosis test-bed and a dynamic balancing test-bed. Have made the analysis to the imbalanced fault signal time domain and the frequency range characteristic, it made the sufficient preparation for the successful of the rapid dynamic balancing debugging.3. Through theoretical analysis and experimental data processing, the rotor balancing errors have been done an in-depth discussion. The impact of calibration to the dynamic balancing, the same initial condition to try the different calibration weight, the different initial condition to try the same calibration weight, that three methods are contrasted vertically and horizontally, get the relationship between calibration weight and phase with the accuracy of balance, as well as get the optimal methods and process. Finally, I summed up by the rotor for such rapid balance approach:coefficient—lag angle Balancing Act, for the field balancing successfully made full preparations, and has been saved the balancing time.
