The horizontal decanter centrifuge (HDC) is a kind of solid-liquid separating machine with powerful productivity, high mechanization and good separation property, is universally applied in sewage dispose chemical engineering pharmaceutical industry and light industry. However, in its field operation the excess vibration is still an unsolved problem. As there are two rotors with slightly different rotating speeds in this centrifuge, when the unbalances emerge on the two rotors separately, two vibration vectors with slightly different frequencies will be produced simultaneously which is called "beat", and it is difficult to identify them effectively.This paper has done a lot of work in dynamic balance mechanism and method, this paper combined the technique of virtual instruments with that of field whole-machine dynamic balancing. Using data acquire card to get the vibration signal, and then identify the magnitudes and phase values of unbalance with separating the "beat" signal base on the correlation theory. Then balance the two rotors of HDC base on influence coefficient method.This paper was developed by LabVIEW software. Because the LabVIEW software has very powerful function of signal analysis, signal manage data and signal vision etc. So the measure system has professional and agility instrument panel vision, and include real-time acquisition and analysis of vibration signal, and so on. During measurement, operator can synchronously observes the signal waveform and vibration datum, records and reviews measurement datum of whole measurement process datum.The software also has functions as FFT, recording and reviewing the influence coefficient, composing and decomposing vector, automatically build measurement record with office, save waveform as bmp and jpg image file format, execute remote data acquisition and analysis.This measurement system include field balance the dual rotor system with slightly different speed, single emendation plate and double emendation plate. It has been proved that the balancing instrument can be used more conveniently and more stably by experiments on horizontal spiral centrifuge machine. So it will be a new product soon.
