The difficulties in wellbore lifting and surface gathering of ultra-heavy oil production technologies could be solved effectively by steam jet pump. Based on integration of research achievements in related fields at home and abroad, related theories and techniques were studied. According to the two-phase flow theory and heat transfer principle, a flowing and heat transfer coupled model considering the simultaneous flow in wellbore and annulus space was derived. Based on fluid mechanics theory, conservation of mass and energy conservation theorem, a calculation model for lifting characteristic of steam jet pump was established in consideration of condensing and mixing process between steam and produced fluid in the mixing chamber of pump. Using node analysis method, these two models above were jointed to form a complete parameter design method for lifting heavy oil technology by steam jet pump and corresponding program was also coded. Inflow performance of ultra-heavy oil steam stimulation wells were obtained by numerical simulation method, the optimization of sealing material of steam jep pump was carried out based on laboratory experiments, the steam jet pump suitable to ultra-heavy oil production was designed and manufactured. And field application test was carried our in the Shengli Oilfield.Field application shows, the matching technology above could realize the artificial lift of ultra-heavy oil using steam jep pump, and the working parameters calculation results of the design software above was Accurat, which can provide the criteria for optimization of the steam-jet pump producing parameters.
