A lots of common parts,standard parts are used in the development and design of the machinery product.If these common components to build the-database, using existing resources, you can spend less time and for rapid design. Parametric design and build the parts to provide a good solution.This project runs on WindowsXP platform,on the basis of CAD/CAM/CAE software Unigraphies NX that EDS company developed,make use of UG's strong parametrie modeling teehnology and its UG/Open API, UG/Open MenuScrip, such as further development module, a feature modeling. The method developed three-dimensional parameters of the main components of CNC machine tools commonly used parts library.In the course of the study subjects, the first detailed discussion with thethree-dimensional pieces of the standards related to the development of several key technologies:parametric technology, feature modeling.The correlation technique of UG further development and the method of creating standard parts library based on UG are studied deeply. The complete actualization process is obtained by practising the user interface and application program design again and again and studying the further development method of UG in detail.By utilizing instance, introduce the eonerete method to set up three-dimensional standard part library and interface technology. Finally, a numerical control machine tool spindle design example, verify the application of this spindle CNC machine parts used for main components for improving the efficiency of the importance of design.
