Dynamic analysis of belt conveyor is to understand the phenomenon and theory of dynamics.The belting will be simplified to the appropriate mechanical model, and master the basic law of dynamics. According to the design requirements, the system can carry out the static and dynamic characteristics analysis.Using computers for more accurate dynamic solution will achieve the controlling and optimization for start-up and brake.The start-up and braking process for the rational design of belt conveyor design is an important element. The force of conveyor components reach the maximum during start-up and braking process, so the maximum force of the various components of the conveyor during the start-up and braking process need dynamic analysis.Belting is one of the important components of belt conveyor. Based on the mechanical characteristics of the belting, and applying the viscous and elasticity theory establish three organs model, and establish the constitutive equations of the three organs model, finally work out the parameters of the three organs model. It will participate in operation as known parameters of the dynamic analysis during belt conveyor stopping.Dynamic Analysis of the belt conveyor stopping, and use finite-element analysis method and establish dynamic differential coefficient equations.We must work out the running resistance force of belting, the tension of every points, the equivalent elastic modulus, the stiffness of every paragraphs,the damp of every paragraphs, then put in all the parameters solved in accordance with Newmark-βsteps, and finally obtained the displacement,the velocity, the acceleration of every unit in every conditions, in every ways of stopping.The above process have been put into program, and belt conveyor analysis software program of stopping process have been developed with Visual Basic6.0 using this arithmetic, and the key technology have been well accomplished. There are convenient interface with user, and the user just need to input the parameter of belt conveyor, and all calculations are carried out in the background, and will obtain the displacement, velocity and acceleration of every place and time.The numerical example and result analysis have validated the correctness and practicability of this method.
