Sonar transmitter is a very important component in active sonar equipment and different transmitters of active sonar can be used in different active sonar system. The design and realization of high power transmitter and broadband transmitter with matching circuits are completed in this paper.It is difficulte to carry out powerful & high-frequency transmitter because of complex effect of high frequency. The characteristics, designing demands as well as principles of choosing of power MOSFET and MOSET driver circuit are given in the paper. And the designing method of transformer, heat treatment of power IC is also included here. By that, high power transmitter, which working frequency is 385 kHz and working power is 1440W, has been carried out in the paper.In the broadband transmitter's working frequency bound, the changed of transverter's impedance is so large along with the change of frequency that it affect the efficiency and performanceof transmitter. So it is necessary to be broadband matched. But the difficultis of designing and realization broadband matching network are that load impedance varies with frequency and it can't be expressed with an analytical expression. The Real Frequency Method (RFM) and its improved Method are discussed in the paper, by which method and process of matching network designing are presented at the following. The program, which made in software of matlab, is validated by software of multisim. The matching circuits'framework and parameter are gained by the program.After experimental testing, the high power transmitter and the broadband transmitter with its matching circuits all achieved the designing requirement, and also accorded with system requirement.
