Along with the economic growth and the improvement of people's living standard, the demand for electricity is increasing. Now the electric power system of Machong is difficult to meet the growth load. In order to keep the sustainable development of national economy in future, Distribution planning, construction and renovation is becoming more and more important to the decision makers. As the power network construction involves a large amount of money and land requisition and some other things, how to do distribution planning, ensure the safe, stable, reliable and economic operation of distribution, make the money and land's efficient use, is one of the indispensable important work to the relevant government and electric power enterprise.Foshan, Guangdong Province, is located in the central and southern Pearl River Delta, Guangzhou East Forest, west of Zhaoqing, south of Zhongshan, north through Qingyuan, adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, and strategic location, is the leading western Guangdong Pearl River Delta as well as an important gateway to the Southwest. Foshan area contains Chancheng, Nanhai, Shunde, Sanshui, brilliant five areas. Foshan, as the country's major home appliances, paint, furniture production base, the hometown of ceramic production, economic and social coordination of the sound and rapid development of comprehensive strength has been improved, particularly since reform and opening. Since 2003, the GDP average annual growth of 22.38%, in 2008 the GDP of 433.333 billion yuan; by the resident population, per capita production value of 72,975 yuan, an increase of 21.14%.According to Academy of Social Sciences published the "2007 China Urban Competitiveness Blue Book", Foshan city's comprehensive competitiveness in the country (including Hong Kong, Macao) in major cities ranked 9th. Foshan is also among the "Forbes" published Chinese version of "2007 Best Commercial Cities in China" list of top ten.This paper based on the "11th five-year plan" of power network construction. Combed with the current and historical data analysis, it draws reasonable load forecasting and 110 kV and above Substation planning scheme, and supply relevant Suggestions for Main Network. Based on the , it divided the scope of power substation reasonably. Also it recommend a medium voltage distribution network construction scheme, provide the basis for Foshan's future Power construction, modification and optimization. The planning will be further improve the Foshan distribution network, and make it meets the needs of the construction and economic development, and be high power supply reliability and economical operation of modern power System. This paper investigates and analyses the structure characteristics of domestic distribution network, combed with the actual condition of Foshan, planed by scientific theoretical calculation and analysis. Finally, the final planning scheme proposed with the guide of my tutors in and around school, also thanks many distribution network planning experts and Operation technical personnel's discuss and correction. The plan realizes the target of planning first-class grid with first-class technology. It fully reflected the height of planning and scientific.
