Distribution network is an important part of power system, also the important basis of city modernization construction. Distribution network in some areas has low power supply reliability, power grid construction land tension, etc. In the power distribution network planning, how to consider both the need of the current and the development of the benefit in the long run, reasonable and effective use of resources to obtain the biggest benefit, is one of the focuses of the decision makers at all levels. So combining the concrete national conditions research meet the requirements of the development of power grid planning theory, scientific planning of urban distribution network, to ensure the rationality of the power grid planning and power grid running safety and economy become the key problems needed to resolve.In this paper, the background and significance of the subject is described, and the status of domestic and foreign research is listed. The paper introduces the general situation and economic development of Laishan area, and divides the current status of distribution network into 110kV, 10kV and 35kV three different voltage levels. According to the technical and economic indicators, the distribution network is the main problem of the power supply capacity, the network structure, the power grid equipment. According to the historical load data and the customer’s history, the trend of load growth, the growth trend of load and load characteristics, the development of the machine, and the forecast of the total energy consumption and the maximum power load are made. According to the forecast results, the overall goal of distribution network planning and the annual target of the distribution network planning are determined. According to the growth trend of historical load, the forecast of the future load growth is formulated. According to the regional development plan and the overall development plan of the transmission and distribution network, each voltage level includes power supply planning, substation planning, line planning, network planning and reactive power compensation. The distribution network planning of the distribution voltage level is divided into 110kV, which mainly includes the substation planning and network planning, and 10kV mainly includes planning and network planning. The effect of the overall planning of the distribution network is summarized, and the effect of the voltage rating is evaluated. In the end, the results are summarized, and the power and the load forecasting results are summarized, and the power network planning is summarized.
