Simulation System Modeling And Analysis For Technical Operation Of Railway Marshalling Station

The marshalling station is known as the manufacturing factory of the freight train, for it is not only the base of the traffic flow distribution and de-compile but also the core of railway hub. So, to improve the efficiency and operation capacity of the marshalling yard is always an important issue in railway transport organization study. Along with the development of computer and simulation technology, simulation application is so common and its function is more and more powerful. Simulation research in every link of marshalling technical operation carries important implication. It can not only providing effective and reasonable suggestions for new station layout, but also evaluating the system of marshalling operation, drilling emergency plan under specific conditions, providing auxiliary support for dispatching decisionsThis paper researches in downlink marshalling system of JinZhou station. Mainly discussed the simulation logic structure of marshalling operation system of each section, based on the actual operation data, used theory of process oriented model. Then determine the parameters as the input information of simulation software Arena to achieve the aim that modeling and analysis the simulation system of marshalling technology assignment.First, statistical analysis the arrive flow of the marshalling station to get the distribution of intervals,numbers and the size of the arrival train by application related theory. Then give the logical structure of the simulation model. So simulate on arrive flow formation can be done with Arena. Comparing the simulation results to prove the simulation model is correct.Second, studies freight train rally mode. Analysis the downlink freight train rally system of JinZhou station under allocation rally mode. train to Shenyang is as an example to research. Give the rally simulation logical structure, then use Arena modeling to gain a series of index such as average rally time, total consumption rally time of train flow in 24H and rally column numbers in 24H.These indexes are used to analyzed the influential factors of rally time.Finally, this paper analyzes the input queue process, queuing rules and service agencies about departure setting operating system of downlink JinZhou Station. Proposed related hypotheses about simulation model of setting assignments. Then build the simulation model of setting operation by Arena, and gain some indexes, such as setting time, waiting time, busy probability of setting service agencies and so on. These indexes are used as inspection object to analysis factors that influent the setting operation. At last summarized the influence law of setting operation by these factors.
