Archaized building is popular in China as a new style of architecture recently, including timberwork, concrete structure and steel structure etc. Reconstruction and new Archaized building. Ancient buildings which belong to reconstructions and new constructions with its special magic powers, are shining brilliant vitality at now times.A pseudo-classic tower of complex steel structure in Gansu province Jingchuan county was built on the original site of the former tower. The constructing date of the former tower is A.D.601, and is destroyed by the floodwater in Ming dynasty 3 years. Reconstruction of the former tower began in 2006, which chose steel frame—support system as the pseudo-classic tower structure.The paper selects the pseudo-classic tower, which is a steel structure, in Gansu province Jingchuan county as the studying object. Here are main research content:1,The pseudo-classic tower of the steel structure under the single work condition is analyzed, and max displacement occurs in the cornice of pseudo-classic tower under the effect of dead and live load. Story displacement and top displacement which are result from the wind load and earthquake load meet the request of the code. The integral analysis and the safety discussion of the pseudo-classic tower of the steel structure is carried on in the paper by infinite element soft wares of SATWE and MIDAS, and results also meet the request of the present code. Owing to the signification of the pseudo-classic tower. the paper discusses the bearing stock of the building which is based on Code for seismic design of building(GB50011-2010), and gets a conclusion that the tower structure could bear the earthquake action of 8 degree (03.0g)of the seismic fortification intensity.2,The influence of whipping effect from the top floor of the tower on the main structure is researched and analyzed in the paper, and presents a conclusion that every step period and angles of story drift of integral structure of the tower is increased and results in the decreasing of story shear of every floor.3,The infinite element modal of the beam-column joint which is 45°eccentricity is created by ANSYS, and contour pictures show that max stress occurs in the linking part of upper column and joint plant, max strain of nodes occurs on the end of the beam.
