| The effect of sheeting diaphragms refers to the profiled steel sheet in the portal frame could participate in the structure's whole stress and transmit the shearing force by using its own one in order to improve and strengthen the whole structure's space properties. The generation of the effect of sheeting diaphragms not only obviously reinforces the rigidity of the whole structure which has good advantage to the resistance of the lateral displacement but also reduces the sectional dimensions of the beam column. So the consideration of the effect of sheeting diaphragms in the actual project not only could greatly enhance the properities of the structure but also could get economic benefits.This paper mainly makes a research on the effect of sheeting diaphragms in the portal frame with single layer and double span by using the software of the finite element, ANSYS. Based on the comparing analysis, the whole structure is analyzed through the static force, mode and earthquake response spectrum. By considering the effect of the sheeting diaphragms, the beam column's sectional dimension is designed optimized in order to embody the relative economic advantage which is generated by the effect of the sheeting diaphragms. The main content of this paper is revealed in the following three parts:Firstly on the condition of sheeting diaphragms and non sheeting diaphragms, the displacement, outer force and internal force which is on the effect of the dead load of the portal frame with single layer and double span are compared and analyzed. The displacement and outer force of the side trusses on the condition of the sheeting diaphragms is higher than the one on the condition of the non sheeting diaphragms. Additionally the maximum outer force of the middle and side trusses in the mode with sheeting diaphragms is rather higher, which embodies the effect of the sheeting diaphragm on the whole structure's force, that is to say the effect of the sheeting diaphragms. Through the analysis of the internal force, the effect produced by participating of the sheeting diaphragms in the mode makes the load effect far away from the side and is transmitted near the side part. And the bending moment of the mode purline's edge with the effect of the sheeting diaphragms is higher than the one non sheeting diaphragm.Secondly the structure in this paper is analyzed through the mode and earthquake response spectrum. In the analysis of the mode thirty steps are taken and two different kinds of structure mode are compared in the condition of sheeting diaphragms and non sheeting diaphragms. It proves that the sheeting diaphragms also take part in the whole structure's stress and also have impact upon the structure. Because the effect of sheeting diaphragms lessens the structure's vibration circle which illustrates it could strengthe the structure's rigidy. The figure of vibration modes show that the skin panel also participates in the structure's vibration which is identical to the structure's factual vibration. Whereas 180 steps that is to say 180 peak value discrete points in the earthquake wave is analyzed in the earthquake response spectrum. This paper respectively lists two modes'displacement and internal force figure every thirty steps and the existence of the sheeting diaphragms'effect is also proved. In the earthquake response spectrum analysis, the effect of sheeting diaphragms makes the structure more powerful and the internal force is divided more equally. The existence of the sheeting diaphragms not only plays an active role on the whole load of the structure but also threatens to its own integrality because of the participation of the sheeting diaphragms, so the importance of the sheeting diaphragms is totally revealed before us when the relevant design is done.Thirdly the optimized design is made by using the optimized function of the ANSYS. The optimized results is obtained on the limited condition of the lateral displacement of the pillar's top, steel trestle's axial-pressure ratio, and sheeting diaphragms'flexivity and is designed on the basis of the beam column's sectional dimension. And when the material's entire cost is calculated before and after the optimized course, the entire cost reduces 14.78%. In short the material of the sheeting diaphragms is used more reasonable and the usage amount is also decreased, so the corresponding economic advantage is acquired. |
