Crystal ball is widely used, in the jewelry industry, it can be made into pendants, necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets, etc, which can also be used as gifts sent to relatives and friends.With the increasing demand for a crystal ball,rely on manual processing or semi-automatic processing the crystal ball can not meet the market demand.There is an urgent need to develop a crystal ball grinding machine of functional, cheap, simple structure,to improve the processing efficiency of the crystal ball and reduce processing costs.Therefore, a fully functional and cheap crystal ball grinding machine will have great commercial value.The current crystal ball grinding machine existing high production costs, low reliability, precision can not meet the requirements of the actual crystal processing, so this paper use chip technology, the motor division drive technology and CNC technology to designed a NC crystal ball grinding machine based on 32-bit microcontroller. The main work and innovation are as follows:1.Conduct a detailed analysis of the commonly used drive technology of stepper motor, proposed by using PWM Subdivision drive technology to achieve two-phase hybrid stepping motor control method,discussed the principle of the subdivision drive technology and the changes of motor windings current ,established two-phase hybrid stepping motor mathematical model of drive sub-state, for the two-phase hybrid stepping motor drive provides a theoretical basis of subdivision.2.Through specific analysis the grinding principle of polyhedron crystal ball,designed crystal ball CNC machine control system based on ARM MCU LM3S615, including single chip control circuit, LM3S615's three-phase sub-driver circuit, and data display and panel control circuit . In circuit design, through use the internal PWM module of LM3S615 micro controller that comes with the necessary PWM output waveform, use special integrated circuits to achieve drive of PWM control signal. So the system has a simple structure, low production cost and reliability.3.Use the thought of Modular software structure ,completed the design of crystal ball machine system software .Discusses the main module, key input module, the disc motor control module, transfer module and swing plane angle motor control motor control software module of crystal ball and software workflows.The structure of entire software system has clear, easy to debug and modify features.The combination of software and hardware to meet the CNC crystal ball grinding machine precision.
