W-boiler is applied gradually in China because of its efficiency on burning lean coal and anthracite coal. At present, more and more direct-fired systems which using double in and double out pulverized ball mill were used in coal-fired power plant. Characteristic of pulverized-coal system will affect the burning efficiency and cost saving of boiler.primarily, the testing method of optimizing pulverized-coal system; following, measuring pots were built according to the theory of the pulverized ball mill rule-DL467-92 and the local distributing of the measuring pots. Alteration scheme is put forward by industry test finding system question and device was changed during heavy repair; Then cold state experiment was carried through in zhu zhou power plant after heavy repair and condition was acquired of hot state experiment. finally, economic running parameters were given by test researching pulverized ball mill, axial classifier was investigated and compared to radial classifier in order to guarantee outlet coal fineness of pulverized-coal system.It solves question that four pulverized coal systems were not enough to full load running of boiler. Paper aims at the locale engineering question. It elicits the reasonable parameters by field fact question and can assist operator developing combustion control and economical analysis. It also can improve the security and economy of boiler and decrease the emission of contamination.At last, summarization of thesis provides a useful conclusion, at the same time, the farther work and advice were provided because of field test condition restriction.
