This paper made a water resources assessment for construction projects, which relies on water supply project in Nong'an County, the extension project of water supply project in the central cities of Jilin Province, which is a key water conservancy project in the"Eleventh Five-Year Plan".As we all know, the total amount of water resources in our country is not less, however the per capita amount is very poor. The rapid development of industrial and agricultural production results in a growing contradiction between water supply and demand. A number of adverse effects and deterioration of ecological environment occurred, therefore the national requirements for water resources assessment in construction project is proposed.The total population in Nongan County is 1.15 million, and the total water resources is 445 million cubic meters. So the county per capita water resources is 274 cubic meters, which is only 18% of Jilin Province per capita and 11% of the national per capita. Water shortage has become an important constraints in the development of Nongan County, Kaian and Huaan Town nearby.The water supply project set 2003 as the status base year, 2010 as the design level year and 2030 as long-term level year to provide 189.9 thousand cubic meters every day for urban water supply. The water intake pumping station is located in the left bank, 350m on the upstream of Xinlicheng Reservoir, with a lift of 36.0m. The water line extended northward to Lingjiazi Reservoir, with a length of 105.358km and use prestressed concrete cylinder pipe to transport water.After implementation of the project, the amount of water from the water supply of urban water supply diversion, can solve the problem of a shortage of agricultural water County.The precipitation ,surface water ,groundwater , sewage and can be transported water in the project construction area is calculated and industrial ,agricultural water supply ,urban water , environmental and ecological water demand etc. was analyzed in this paper. The total amount of demand water in County Nong'an will be planned to be 2950×104m3/a in 2010. With rational exploitation of groundwater , the amount of supply water in County Nong'an will be 949×104m3/a, and the amount of shortage water will be 1999×104m3/a. Consider the water capacity of Xinlicheng reservoir to supply City Changchun .allocate the amount of 1606×104m3 water to County Nong'an. The guaranteed rate of designed supply water will be 95%. The emergence supply water engineering design capacity of County Nong'an supply water engineering will be 4.4×104m3/d. annual amount of supply water will be 1460×104m3/a . In this way to solve the shortage of water supply in County Nong'an in short-term. By emphasize the system of discharging pollutant water and treatment management, increase the number of the fundamental installation construction of pollutant water treatment, improve the outfall pipe network, base on the full benefits of centralized sewage treatment, and protection measures of discharging sewage and rainfall diversion etc. , each requirement in the project water capacity management area will be satisfied by the quality of this project water .The downstream of Yitong river will be mixed into Yinma river Yinma river will be mixed into The Second Songhuajiang Except the demand of agricultural water supply ,but no other major water demand in this part. So it will be not affect other demand of supply water in this area...
