The building energy consumption takes over one third of the total amount at the time beings in the energy structure in China. For the Sanbei areas in north China, the energy consumption for heating supply occupies over half of the building energy consumptions. In order to implement the building energy saving policy, cutting the heating consumption is the inevitable way. According to the updated national standard, the unit energy consumption must be cut to half of the current level, thereinto,30% would be achieved by improving the insulation of the buildings, and the rest part must be complemented by optimizing the heating system efficiency.Nowadays, most heating sources of large scale heating system are cogenerations or district boiler plant, connected by direct way or indirect way. The heating source of the system studied in this paper is cogeneration and peak load boiler plant with existing buildings as heating load. The way to improve its efficiency and decrease the heating energy consumption was learned.Yijing substation was chose and studied as the typical object in 2008-2009 heating season in Jiamusi, the operation parameters were followed and adjusted timely aiming at making it runs under economic operation, and a large number of data on temperatures, flow, electricity and water consumptions etc were recorded and analyzed.
