With the rapid development of expressway construction in China, the number of traffic accidents increase dramatically. Rear-end collision is the main form of traffic accidents in high-way, and to study the model of security distance model and rear-end collision probability is very importan to decrease the traffic accidents.In this paper, based on the theoretically analyzing of vehicle rear-end mechanism and predisposing factors, the connection with various factors and the rear-end collision is established. In order to simulate the dynamic model of rear-end, ear-end simulation system is established by VB software, it provides an important way for rear-end collision probability and critical security distance. To study the nonlinear relation between rear-end collision probability and their affecting factors, it establishes the rear-end collision probability model and critical security distance model based on the BP neural network, the simulation results receives that the modes have high accuracy.So researching of the modes is academic significance and application value to avoid vehicle rear-end.
