Reliability engineering is a range of engineering and management science an edge between the disciplines, technology and management of its duality. Comprehensive application of the reliability of technology related fields of technology to address reliability issues, through the failure physics, experimental techniques provide a mechanism for the product failure analysis, detection, diagnosis and design of prevention technologies, Applied Mathematics and Statistics Assessment of technical and the scene by means of the use of information feedback for the design, testing, manufacture and use of the reliability of the process of forming a guarantee that the cycle of technology management system, management is through the rational use of technology to the ultimate goal to achieve reliability.Electronic oscilloscope is an important electronic devices of observing voltage and current waveform in a variety of production, testing and scientific research has been widely used. In this paper, ST16-type oscilloscope principle introduced in detail, using components and component stress analysis counting method, made the reliability of quantitative analysis, their mean time between failures for a theoretical analysis of expected and the weak links. Through theoretical calculations:ST16-type oscilloscope, the average time between failures MTBF= 661 hours, for the identified weaknesses in its control system, paper given to improve the reliability of the system and some suggestions. This will give great help for using, maintenance and management of the oscilloscope.Because of the interlinked nature of electronic circuit products, the paper's ST16-based oscilloscope control circuit reliability prediction and analysis of research methods can also be applied to other electronic circuit reliability analysis and design. The reliability of the method of the product is expected not only to the oscilloscope control system, but also to other electronic circuit reliability is expected to have some guidance.
