The disposal industry of life waste in the environmental protection industry has a big proportion and a great influence. In addition, not only the instruction reform and technological transformation, but also the formation of industrialization is in progress. The technicality and economy of the waste disposal industry become feasible, which is resulting from the disposal ways of resource and harmlessness, represented by all kinds of comprehensive utilization products. Adopting the BOT mode to construct and operate the projects has many benefits, such as reducing the government's financial burden, improving the efficiency of projects operation, and providing enormous funds for environmental protection, further more, is of great significance, as to promote the sustainable, healthy and harmonious development of Chinese economy.The paper focuses on the application of BOT model in Solid Waste Treatment Project in China. Starting from the BOT's connotation, the paper briefly describes the status of its domestic and international research, operational processes, BOT's attributes, the key factors and BOT application in environmental industry. And discusses the BOT applying feasibility in Solid Waste Treatment Projects. The paper made a profound inquiry into the application of BOT in Solid Waste Treatment: risk identification and assessment, SWOT analysis, value engineering and life cycle assessment. At last, the paper provides a classic example: 300 tons/day MSW integrated treatment of BOT project in S City, using actual project construction and operation data to verify the authenticity of the theory above. We can overcome and resolve difficulties in financing and managing Solid Waste Treatment Project by BOT model, and can also improve problems, such as inefficiency and unfinished projects. Conducive to waste disposal industry to realize the marketing, specialization and standardization objectives as soon as possible.
