Research And Design For The Control And Communication Of Black-start System Of Large Pumped Storage Power Units

In recent years several widespread power blackout incidents happened in other countries. They influenced the local society and economy seriously. In order to avoid similar incident in homeland, it is necessary to build high-capacity black-start power systems which are fast and reliable. The task of this article is to research the black start control logic of pumped storage units, then design a black-start control system. The main woks are:1. According to the characteristic of black-start, analysis the whole black start process, then constitute the technique scheme of the black-start control system.2. Research the application of difference communication protocols in the data transmission link of black-start control system.3. Design and perfect the black-start sequence of unit and operation procedure.This article can be divided to five chapters.Chapter One, Introduction, introduces conception of black-start and the background of the task, then introduces the present condition and contents of studying.Chapter Two, Technique scheme of the black-start control system, introduces the choice of black-start mode, analysis the whole black start process, then constitute the technique scheme of the black-start control system.Chapter Three, Data transmission link of black-start control system, introduces the establishing of the link based on the PROFIBUS protocol, and the establishing of the link based on the MODBUS protocol, and the establishing of the link based on the Industry Ethernet.Chapter Four, Design and improvement of the black-start sequence of unit and operation procedure, analysis the load of station auxiliary power service and the partnership between the station auxiliary power service and black-start control system. According to the analysis result the control program of station auxiliary power service is modified partly, improves the black-start sequence, designs the operation procedure, illuminates the control and protection logic of local control unit.Chapter Five, Application and test of the black-start control system, mainly introduces the test process of the black-start control system.
