Nationalâ…¢Emission Limites has been actualize for a short of time. The traditional diesel engine with in-line pumps are unable to adapt to the regulatory and market requirements. Only the use of electronically controlled fuel injection technology can solve this problem. At present, the world's proven technologies to achieve the nationalâ…¢emission limites are unit pump, unit nozzle, common rail system and so on. However, domestic enterprises have not mastered these technologies, and these systems are very expensive. It is necessary for us to empolder a suitable diesel electronic controlled fuel injection system. In this paper, The system was proposed based on the consideration of cost and the emission limites. This system can improve the response and stability of diesel engine, and make the fuel injection rate and injection volume flexible and controllable. The use of EGR technology can reduce NOx emissions. The system can be divided into three parts, they are electronic speed governor, variable pre-stroke system and exhaust gas recircle. The author achieved the hardware circuit design and system algorithm design, using stepper motor to adjust the oil rod and pre-stroke sleeve, using the proportional solenoid valve to control EGR valve. The system is used in changchai 4L88 diesel engine. Finally, the author conducted a experimental study of the system, including the oil pump test bench test and bench test. Completed system validation of the feasibility and reliability. Achieved MAP calibration tasks. Carried out diesel engine performance tests under different pre-stroke value. The results shows that the system have the potential to achieve national III emission regulations.
