At present, mechanism governor used in Petrol generator to control rotate speed inside and outside china, has many shortcomings such as rotate speed fluctuate largely when the load change, restrict the more improving of the Petrol generator's performance. This study develop a Digital electronic governor to control rotate speed of Petrol generator in order to reduce rotate speed fluctuate, improve it's performance. Whole research includes from the design to produce and equip of experiment device, hardware and software design of the Digital electronic governor and the study of the Digital electronic governor used in KGE1000Ti Petrol generator.FUZZY- PID control strategy was implemented in this research, choose arithmetic according to the margin between the fact rotate speed and rating speed, if absolute value of margin less than fixed value, use PID control, else use FUZZY control.Used this design On KGE1000Ti Petrol generator, the system's successful application showed that it can control the speed of KGE1000 Petrol generator well. The performance of it all better than HONDA EX-7 Petrol generator, which use the same engine as KGE1000Ti generator, control rotate speed by mechanism governor, especially on 100 percent sudden adding load (for rating frequency) instant frequency windage : HONDA EX-7: ≤-9.038%, KGE1000Ti with this electronic governor: ≤-3.6%.Test result also shows frequency of KGE1000Ti with this electronic governor all achieve china trade standard, steady frequency range achieve G2 grade, 100 percent anticlimax load (for rating frequency) instant frequency windage , 100 percent sudden adding load (for rating frequency) instant frequency windage , frequency resume time and relatively frequency allow margin range all achieve G3 grade.
