Protection And Continuance Of Urban Landscape Character Sample Of Changsha Riverside Scenic Belt

Since Chinese reformed and opened up, the process of urbanization has accelerated increasingly, the original pattern of urban and urban landscape morphology undergone dramatic changes. The most intuitive performance appears that the continuous expansion of city size and the loss of urban landscape original form. The original urban landscape has been replaced, be removed or be forgotten by urban populations. The local characteristics of cities and urban landscape features and characteristics are gradually losing, It has become an important issue in the process of Chinese contemporary urban development. In such background, the urban landscape study that focused on the urban characteristic is imperative.Landscape city is the ideal approach for the urban development in 21st century. It has deep national culture essence and traditional practice foundation. It contains abundant philosophical and aesthetic concept. This thesis bases on the analysis of the city, has remarkable mountain and river landscape, and uses the problem to be guidance to find out the planning strategy and principle of urban landscape character. The outcome can be used as support theory and data theory of construction for landscape city, which has a positive academic value, at the same time, it also has a sort of practice value for urban landscape character planning.This thesis can be divided into two parts. The first part is the theoretical construction. Firstly, based on the studies of landscape character research trend at home and abroad to put forward the problem and object of thesis, discuss and research the essence of urban landscape character. Secondly, the closely relationship between Chinese cities and natural environment will be deeply analyzed, the theory basis of planning urban landscape character will be summarized. The ecological target,aesthetic target,social target and cultural target will be concluded, and put forward the planning principle. Lastly, and then the thesis will try to propose design approaches on ecology pattern landscape design culture continuance and resource protection of urban landscape character.The second part of this thesis is example study. The typical representative: Changsha is selected as the study object. The advantage and problem of Changsha's landscape character will be evaluated by analyzing its current urban mountain-river landscape system. Base on the four aspects of planning of urban landscape character, which mentioned above, put forward the planning methods of Changsha's urban mountain-river landscape character,protection of area mountain-river resources; image construction of mountain-river landscape; conformity and inheritance of city culture. Lastly, the review and conclusion of the thesis will be presented.
