As the sustainable development policies of China's " Forbidden sticky Forbidden real " and the development of energy efficient building materials carry on , the various of new wall materials that are made of local industrial waste are developing and are being widely promoted. Sintered gangue porous brick is a new type of wall material to be made of solid waste gangue. It has high compressive strength, energy-saving, environmental protection etc., so it has been of large application. However, in wenchuan earthquake, because masonry structure seismic shear capacity was poor, so the overall was severely damaged. And porous brick masonry is more brittle failure,repair and reinforcement is more difficult than sintering ordinary brick masonry. Now, how to improve the shear and ductility of the porous brick masonry seismic has become prerequisite to apply in the earthquake zones. In the background, to research the reinforcement gangue porous brick masonry seismic shear performance,to learn more about the improving of the seismic shear and ductility of porous brick masonry ,to provide the necessary test and theoretical basis for the sintering gangue porous brick can be applied in earthquake zones better.Therefore, in order to fully understand the sintering gangue porous brick, porous brick masonry and the reinforcement porous brick masonry mechanical properties, this paper mainly studied the following several aspects:1. The research is about the mechanical properties of coal gangue porous brick, namely the compressive strength, flexural strength tests of the porous brick , and it analyses the effect on the various cracks to the strength of porous brick. The flexural strength is very important tothe various mechanical properties of masonry . The porous brick has the same strength grade,but it esists greater diversity for the flexural strength because of the cutted section.So for the better to evaluat the strength grade of porous brick , it suggests using two indices the compressive strength and the fold compression ratio ;2. The research is about basic mechanical properties of porous brick masonry, namely porous brick masonry axial compressive strength test, porous brick masonry shear strength tests. It analysis the compressive destruction features and failure pattern of porous brick masonry and puts forward the suggestion expression of the compressive strength of porous brick masonry; It analysis the shear failure characteristics and damage pattern of the porous brick masonry and put forward the suggestion expression of the shear strength of porous brick masonry with the "Sell keys" " function and the main factors considered of the masonry shear strength formula in our country code.3. The research is about the pseudo-static experimental of the reinforcement porous brick masonry.It analysis the destruction features and failure pattern of the reinforcement porous brick masonry,the porous brick masonry and the reinforcement porous brick masonry under different compressive stress and compares the seismic performance of the porous brick masonry ; It analysis the working mechanism of the horizontal reinforcing steel bars under the different compressive stress;It puts forward the suggestion expression of the reinforcement porous brick masonry shear strength with the masonry shear strength theory,the working mechanism of the horizontal reinforcing steel bars and the shear mechanism of the porous brick masonry; analyzes the anti collapsed ability of the porous brick masonry and reinforcement porous brick masonry through capacity equivalence principle,and the reinforcement porous brick masonry has good resistance to collapse ability;4. It simulates the reinforcement wall MYQ– 3 using the concrete plastic damage model of ABAQUS finite element software and analysis the seismic shear performance of the reinforcement wall in compared of the pseudo-static experimental results.
