This paper makes study of planning of the power distribution network at Kunyang Town of Pingyang County. The reconstruction planning should include:situation evaluation of medium voltage distribution network analysis, local load forecast, high-voltage substation plan, reconstruct of medium-voltage distribution network, technical and economic analysis, special planning of distribution network. The evaluation system of power distribution network based on four categories, which was consisted of power supply ability, technical rationality, safety in operation, technical and economiy, including fourteen index. This evaluation system is more comprehensive and objective than other evaluation system. The scale of the distribution network can be understood more directly, he weak link is grasped more accurately, and the medium voltage distribution was found out more concisely. Through the evaluation system,10 kV distribution network can be diagnosed the existing problems and the urgent points need to improve in a relatively short period of time. The various standards proposed by the evaluation system is also a target network. The index should be change with different regions, areas and periods, but the network of the construction must ensure that the direction of deviation from the target network.Base on the situation evaluation of distribution network of Kunyang Town, considering transmission network planning of Pingyang County, according to the load situation and national economic development, a reasonable load forecast was made and some feasibility suggestions was given. Finally, the paper also gives the other special planning, environmental protection and other proposals.
