In recent years, the accelerated development of the city of Zhaoqing, Duanzhou Zhaoqing old city area in terms of function or from the scale are difficult to meet the needs of the city to further expand. The Zhaoqing City Master Plan(2010 ~ 2020) "identified in east area focus on the construction of modern administrative office, commercial, and cultural facilities, the formation of a and the center of the old city of Duanzhou complement and promote each other with modernized new urban center, enhanced Zhaoqing as regional central city radiation ability. Therefore, the regional power grid planning in Zhaoqing has been difficult to solve the contradiction between the power demand and the existing power supply capacity, and can not meet the requirements of the new city center for power supply reliability and power quality.This paper analyzes the present situation of Zhaoqing city planning area distribution network, points out the existing problems, the investigation and analysis of the status quo load planning area development situation, combined with the area of city planning, power supply in the central prediction of various plots in future saturated load, according to the power source planning and construction status of distribution line structure, corridor and load distribution, analysis of the target, and the key principles of regional power grid planning, and on this basis and reference, put forward the short-term and long-term power supply in central distribution grid structure scheme, and focus on the grid construction planning recent transformation plan, to guide the current grid structure to the long-term goal of grid structure transition and development, the implementation of the program, including inter station ring network, substation load rate, substation interval usage were assessed.
