The experience economy showed its promising future in the 70's of 19 century. B Joseph Pineâ…¡and James H. Gilmore of the LLP Co putted forward that we have already entered the era of experience economy. At the fall of 20th century and the beginning of 21th century, as the planned economy shifted to the economy based on our choice, Bill Gates announced that the arrival of the experience age. At the beginning of 1990, the society has marched into a new economy age which experience economy became a new form of economy together with the products economy, commodity economy and the service economy.The developing speed of experience economy from the baby step to its popularity was very stunning. The experience economy is an economy form based on providing us the beautiful experience and memory, the individual feeling is its staring point. As the basic element, emotion and feeling have the priority to provoke the beautiful memory and experience. Consequently as the "props" of the story, the products become the key to the experience economy. Under the motivation of the experience economy, the function and the artistic of the products can no longer satisfied the consumer, the emotion and the experience has become the new spot light of products design. As we all know productions is the foundation of economy, during nowadays which the technology developed rapidly, it has to satisfied the people not only by the physical function but also by the intangible emotion and experience.Yoga developed quite fast after it was introduced into china since 1980.It became one of the main sports and recreation ways of many people and its potent of the experience economy is more prominent. However, as its props, the yoga products are far from satisfied. It lacks off emotional element let alone beautiful memory. The paper is focusing on studying the theory and way of emotional design, by implanting emotional elements, creating the beautiful experience and lasting it as well.Taking the experience economy and the demand on design of it as a starting point and by combing the nature of the emotion and the element to create it, this paper describe the provoking and expressing way of the emotion in the three aspects of emotional design, which also referenced on the achievements of psychology, sociology, industrial economics, management, marketing, cognitive science, scientific thinking and other related fields. In the study of how to express the emotion of the products, the paper describe itself through the emotion from the designers, the emotion in the products and the emotion provoked from the users. Based on the relationship between the products, emotion and the users, the paper studies on how to turn the intangible emotional feel into the design language and element which can used by the designers. Finally the paper puts forward the emotional design principles, ways and the overall design strategy based on the experience economy, which is a guideline toward the design activities.
